Dick Kent first played for the O.B.s in 1948, when he was at school and thus has played with many of the O.B.s whose names are fast becoming a memory - Bill Jeffery, Peter Jeffery, Roger Bullen, Ray Bradshaw, Gabie Wood, Laurie Lee, and so on. He played for the O.B.s until 1955/6, culminating in that magnificent season when they did not lose a match. He went to Wasps for the 1956/7 season and was first choice at scrum half for many seasons. During his time he had several trials for England was accounted extremely unlucky never to have won a cap.
