Wasps Legends revised grant programme is now open to nominations!

The Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation are delighted to announce a revised approach to our grant giving programme. Following on from our previous approach of issuing a main grant split across two years and various smaller grants, the Foundation will now be operating three main funding streams:
- Annual Grant
The Annual Grant will be awarded on an annual basis to support a specific project of an organisation. The maximum grant available will be £25,000 and is subject to our funding terms. This is available to apply for in July each year, with our recipient announced at our annual Long Lunch fundraiser.
- Event Grant
The Event Grant is awarded ahead of each fundraising event, including the Wasps Legends Long Lunch, Rugby Golf Classic and Hall of Fame dinner. The grant provides the recipient with a minimum of 30% (subject to a post event review) of the fundraising profit raised at the event. This is available to apply for approximately three months prior to each event, with our recipient announced in the lead up to the event as our charity partner.
- Small Grant
The small grant is awarded to specific cases throughout the year at the discretion of the Trustees of the Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation.

To nominate a beneficiary, please follow this link and select Apply Here. It is recommended this is completed by your nominated Charity.
Please note, all our grants are subject to the Guidelines for Funding Applications which are listed on the application link. It is important to note, the right to nominate a charity for a grant is only open to fully paid up Wasps Legends and Friends of Legends. This will be verified within the application form.

Nominations close on Friday 13th September 2024 and all nominations are then considered at the discretion of the Board of Trustees. The annual grant recipient will then be announced at the Long Lunch 2024 in October and the Event Grant recipient will be announced in the lead up to the Long Lunch 2024 in September.
