Grant Giving

The Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation grant application process is open. Applications for Small Grants are accepted on an ongoing basis, and the Annual Grant opportunity will reopen in July 2026. The Hall of Fame Event Grant application process is now closed.

Our Grant Programme

The Foundation now operates three main funding streams:

Annual Grant

The Annual Grant will be awarded on an annual basis to support a specific project of an organisation. The maximum grant available will be £25,000 and is subject to our funding terms. This is available to apply for in July each year, with our recipient announced at our annual Long Lunch fundraiser.

Event Grant

The Event Grant is awarded ahead of each fundraising event, including the Wasps Legends Long Lunch, Rugby Golf Classic (in both Spain and the UK), and the Hall of Fame Dinner. The grant provides recipients with a target minimum allocation of 30% of the fundraising profit, subject to final confirmation following a post-event review of the funds raised. This is available to apply for approximately two to three months prior to each event, with our recipient announced in the lead up to the event as our charity partner.

Small Grant

The Small Grant (typically up to £2,500) is awarded to specific cases throughout the year at the discretion of the Trustees of the Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation.

How to Apply

The Foundation continues to accept applications for Small Grants, which are considered on a case-by-case basis. The Annual Grant opportunity will reopen in July 2026.

The next funding opportunity will be the Rugby Golf & Padel Classic Grant. Please check back here for further details and updates on future grant opportunities.

Beneficiaries must be nominated by one of our members (this will be verified within the application form). It is recommended that the member directs their chosen beneficiary to complete the application form, which is accessible via the “Apply Here” button in the banner below.

Please note that all grants are subject to the Guidelines for Funding Applications, which must be accepted as part of the application process. Further details, including timelines, are included within these guidelines.
