The Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation is now accepting applications for its annual grant and two event grants: the Rugby Golf Classic UK and Long Lunch 2025.
The Foundation now operates three main funding streams:
Annual Grant
The Annual Grant will be awarded on an annual basis to support a specific project of an organisation. The maximum grant available will be £25,000 and is subject to our funding terms. This is available to apply for in July each year, with our recipient announced at our annual Long Lunch fundraiser. This is currently open for applications until 5pm on Friday 22nd August 2025.
Event Grant
The Event Grant is awarded ahead of each fundraising event, including the Wasps Legends Long Lunch, Rugby Golf Classic (both Spain and UK) and Hall of Fame dinner. The grant provides the recipient with a minimum of 30% (subject to a post event review) of the fundraising profit raised at the event. This is available to apply for approximately three months prior to each event, with our recipient announced in the lead up to the event as our charity partner. Two event grants (Rugby Golf Classic UK on 23rd September and Long Lunch 2025 on Thursday 9th October) are currently open for applications until 5pm on Friday 22nd August 2025.
Small Grant
The Small Grant (typically up to £2,500) is awarded to specific cases throughout the year at the discretion of the Trustees of the Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation. This is closed whilst we accept applications for our annual and event grants. Applications for small grants will re-open on Monday 25th August 2025.
Our annual grant application process is now open, alongside two event grant opportunities; the Rugby Golf Classic UK and Long Lunch 2025. The application process for these grants runs until 5pm on Friday 22nd August 2025. During this period, the Foundation has paused it's small grant application process which will re-open on Monday 25th August 2025. Please note, there is no limit to the number of grants you are able to apply for, but should you wish to apply for more than one of these available grants you will need to submit seperate applications.
Beneficiaries must be nominated by one of our members (this will be verified within the application form). It is recommended the member directs their chosen beneficiary to complete the application form which is accessible via the the "apply here" button in the banner below. Please note, all our grants are subject to the Guidelines for Funding Applications which you must accept as part of your application process below. Further details, including the timelines are included within these guidelines.
