The Longest Try is a rugby union mass participation relay run, raising funds for people living with motor neurone disease.

120 rugby clubs throughout the United Kingdom will submit 15 players to run one mile each, and to relay a rugby ball across the country, linking to the next club taking part.

Starting at Twickenham Stadium on the 24th July, the ball will embark on it's journey North, arriving in Edinburgh on Saturday, 29th July; then South to reach Cardiff on Saturday, 5th August; with runners passing through Gloucester on Sunday, 6th August; Bracknell on Friday, 11th August; and finishing on the 12th August at Twickenham Stadium.

A combination of Wasps FC & Wasp Legends representatives will complete the final 15 mile stretch to Twickenham, and score the ultimate try at the England v Wales World Cup warm-up match.

The Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation are delighted to be partnered with The Longest Try for this historic event.
