Wasps Legends announce new annual grant partner

We are delighted to announce that at our Long Lunch, the fantastic Star Scheme was revealed as the recipient of our Annual Grant Programme.

Star* is a charitable organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of young people facing Adverse Childhood and Community Experiences (ACEs) and/or mental health challenges through grassroots rugby.

The goals of star* and the Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation are inextricably linked: we both strive to change lives through the spirit of rugby. With this in mind, we are absolutely delighted that star* will be the recipient of our Annual Grant of £25,000, which will be put towards establishing three new star* rugby clubs, supporting 75 young people and their families.

Christian Lang, Managing Director at Star Scheme, said “we are absolutely blown away to receive the Wasps Legends Annual Grant and are honoured to be involved with the organisation. Star Scheme has been on an incredible journey of growth over the last two years, supporting and transforming the lives of young people who are living with the impact of childhood trauma and ACEs.
