2024 saw Warren Gatland, Simon Shaw MBE, Matthew Cosgrove, Buster White, Helen Harding, Hamish Keith, and—posthumously—Allan Isichei & Roger Skinner inducted into the Hall of Fame.

They join an incredible roster of Wasps greats inducted over the years, including:
Lawrence Dallaglio OBE, Rob Howley, Joe Worsley MBE, Jeff Probyn, Sue Day MBE, Kenny Logan, Rob Andrew, Nigel Melville, Gareth Rees, Dean Ryan, Damian Hopley, Alex King, Roger Uttley, Mike Ireland, James Haskell, Peter Scrivener, Clive Ashby, Freddie Hawkins, Don Wills, Will Green and many more — along with honouring those inducted posthumously who contributed so much to the Wasps family.

2026 Inductees:

Our first inductee into the Wasps Legends Hall of Fame 2026 is Richard Birkett!

Regarded as one of Wasps’ most dependable locks, our first inductee made over 250 appearances between 1999 – 2012, playing a key role in a dominant period for Wasps. He was central to four Premiership titles and the 2004 Heineken Cup success.

Our second inductee into the Wasps Legends Hall of Fame 2026 is Giselle Mather! Giselle has left an indelible mark on the sport. A trailblazing World Cup winner, turned elite coach, leading Wasps Women to back-to-back Premiership titles in ’03 & ’04, and later shaping the programme as Director of Rugby.

Her leadership, vision & relentless drive have punctuated the rise of the women’s game

Our third inductee into the Hall of Fame is Serge Betsen, has left an indelible mark on the sport. Regarded as one of the greatest flankers to have ever played the game, a Six Nations Grand Slam winner, and an inspirational leader, he represented Wasps 79 times between 2008–2011, captaining the club and scoring 7 tries, while also earning 63 caps for the French national team.

His power, presence & relentless competitiveness have defined excellence at the highest level of the game.

Our fourth inductee into the Hall of Fame is Paul Volley, a tireless openside flanker who was a cornerstone of Wasps’ most successful era. A key figure in the club’s back-to-back Premiership titles in 2003 and 2004, he also played a pivotal role in the historic 2004 Heineken Cup triumph, embodying everything it meant to represent Wasps in black and gold.

Renowned for his work-rate, physicality and unwavering commitment, Volley’s influence went far beyond the statistics—his intensity and standards helped define a golden period for the club and cemented his place among Wasps legends.

Our fifth inductee into the Wasps Legends Hall of Fame is Genevieve Glover, a pioneering forward whose influence on the game has spanned generations. A committed and fearless competitor on the field, Genevieve was a driving force in the pack and a natural leader who embodied the values of Wasps at every level.

Beyond her playing career, Glover’s impact only deepened. Transitioning from the engine room of the pack to the highest levels of governance, she has been a powerful advocate for progress, inclusion and opportunity within rugby. Renowned for her authority, integrity and unwavering commitment to the sport, her legacy is defined not only by performance, but by the lasting change she has helped shape across the game.
