Wasps Legends announce Love of the Game as Hall of Fame Beneficiary
23rd February 2026

We are delighted to announce that Love of the Game has been selected as the recipient of the Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation’s Hall of Fame 2026 Event Grant.
Love of the Game is dedicated to reducing concussion-related harm across sport. Through a solutions-led approach that combines education, innovation, and evidence-based research, the organisation works to ensure players of all ages can enjoy sport safely and sustainably.
Funding from the 2026 Hall of Fame event will support Phase 1 of a national grassroots concussion awareness campaign focused on rugby. The initiative aims to improve recognition of concussion symptoms and encourage timely, appropriate action at community level - where the majority of players participate.
This first phase will involve close collaboration with governing bodies to refine and strengthen key concussion messaging. It will be followed by a high-impact national poster rollout across grassroots rugby clubs. Approximately 2,000 clubs are expected to receive clear, simple, and highly visible awareness materials for display in clubhouses.
By equipping volunteers, coaches, players, and families with practical guidance, the campaign will help create safer playing environments and protect long-term player wellbeing.
We are immensely proud to support Love of the Game in their mission to protect every player, preserve the joy of sport, and build a safer future for generations to come.
Tickets and tables are now available for the Wasps Legends Hall of Fame Dinner, to be held at the iconic Quaglino’s in London. Funds raised through the event will directly support this vital work.
Join us for an unforgettable evening while helping drive meaningful change in grassroots sport.
